About SRGC
A proud community of sport shooters since 1947.
Our story
Built by shooters, for shooters
Founded in 1947, the Sprague Rod & Gun Club is an organization of shooting enthusiasts who are bound and determined to pass our values and skills on to the next generation. We participate in the annual Spokesman Review 8 week trap shoot every winter.
What we stand for
Our values
Safety first
Every activity at SRGC begins and ends with safe firearm handling. We hold ourselves and our members to the highest standards on and off the range.
Welcoming community
Whether you're brand new to the sport or a lifelong shooter, you'll find a friendly face and a helping hand at SRGC. We grow together.
Respect for the sport
We honour the traditions of sport shooting while embracing new disciplines and welcoming shooters of all backgrounds and experience levels.
Environmental stewardship
Our range sits in beautiful natural surroundings. We take our responsibility to the land seriously — maintaining the property and minimising our footprint.
